Not only can students graduate with a diploma but unlike other schools, students at Frank H. Peterson can graduate with a certificate or license from their academy.

Congratulations to the following students for passing their Certified Food Safety Manager Certification: Harmony Bracy, Jakyra Crable, Sarah Gleaton, Alton Godwin, Jessica Jenkins, Carah Kring, Mariah McCuen, Vanessa Pitts, Jacqueline Redwine and Rayven Turner.

Also, the following Culinary students passed their ServeSafe Certification: Jeremiah Murray, Shameyah Thompson, Ivonne Tirado, John Graham, Makayla Jenkins, Tinaysha Caban, Caitlyn Alexander, Colun Smith and De’Cota Allen.

The second certification qualifies them for the Bright Futures Gold Seal Cape Scholarship. According to the Florida Bright Futures flyer, The Florida Gold Seal CAPE Scholars award is available to students who earn a minimum of five postsecondary credit hours through CAPE industry certifications that articulate for college credit.
