Frank H. Peterson offers a program called Early Childhood Education Academy. There is a real
preschool in this program, high school students will be able to have the opportunity to interact
with the children.

This program will help students get their Child Development Associate
(CDA). Getting a CDA will help students work at a daycare to become a preschool teacher,
teacher assistant, nanny or childcare worker.
When students join this program, they will start upstairs where Ms. Thompson will teach all the
things that are required to do to be downstairs. She is hard on the students but she’s only hard on
them because the students are going to be taking care of other people’s children. Students will be
able to teach preschoolers and interact with them. Also, being in this program helps students get
service hours.
